Motherly Love

This is probably the most intimate photos I have ever taken. I captured this moment on a crowded subway train. While most passengers were sleeping or distracting themselves with their cellphone, this mother was tending to her baby girl. I was afraid that the woman would look up and notice me taking her and her daughter's photo, but she never broke focus. New York City. March 2020.
